Ugh, stop twitching
the perl effect
coding Posted 2001-01-07 01:06:00 by Jim Crawford
I've been coding almost exclusively at work, in perl, lately because work has left me too burnt out to do any recreational coding.

I just picked up Swarm again (don't get your hopes up, though), and I've found myself putting braces around single statements.

if(x) { y; } ... Shudder.

I still sort of like perl, but I now hate Larry Wall.
