Ugh, stop twitching
weekend activities
life Posted 2004-10-11 05:14:26 by Jim Crawford
Went to the Great Western War 20X6 over the weekend. Being an SCA event, and being that they only recognize anachronisms from the past, there was no internet access there. Elena had me mostly convinced that the reason I disliked the war in the past was that noone I knew was there, and I must admit it was much more pleasant this time around. I don't have a lot to say about it except that after living for a few weeks in a house full of people who would point out, for instance, that lasagna is unhealthy because there's so much cheese in it, it was nice to be able to go up to a booth and order a dish called “beef on a stick.”
